Had surgery yesterday to remove my last ovary (and cyst). Let's see, that now gives me ten incisions on my torso. Enough, already! Surely this has to be enough... I don't think there's much left to remove. :-)
Laproscopic surgery has got my vote. Course I'm uncomfortable and not sleeping... but still, it's MUCH better than my 1999 laprotomy hysterectomy!
Here's hoping for quick healing. Our plane tickets to Seattle are for this Friday to visit Jayson's family and our new grandbaby... and I am anxious to hold her and cuddle with Elizabeth!

Thanks for the comment on Bubba Bubbles! You sly thing...you mentioned how much my daughter looked like your first granddaughter...and I had NO idea who "One Year Older and Wiser Too" was. Nobody told me you had a blog!
I'm glad you can see the similarities...some people in the fam can't even tell BBJ is my daughter! I'm so glad your surgery went so well - I know Ernie is on pins and needles waiting for you to come!
You poor thing. I hope you feel better soon. It has to be better than the hysterectomy--right. That was a frightening story I still remember! Hope you feel good enought to visit with Elizabeth and baby #2.
I agree about the Laproscopic. I've had that done and hear that the old way of doing surgery is hard to recover from. I too hope you feel better by Friday. You will be in my prayers. Hey do you and Jay know Carl Morgan? A friend of mine from Logan,Utah is married to him and he said that Denzel is his Uncle? Small world.
So sorry you had to have surgery...boy that came on sudden didn't it! I'm so glad things went ok and your home recovering...are you going to be able to go to Seattle ok? I know your excited to see the new grandbaby...take lots of pictures when you go...wish I were closer so I could bring you dinner!
